Two Mofilm adverts for Haagen Dazs ice cream. Both ideas play on the same concepts. It was clear from the brief that the advert is to focus towards women enjoying ‘Haagen Dazs time’, uninterrupted time to indulge in their favourite ice cream.
Hide and Seek
A man arrives home carrying a bunch of flowers. As he walks through the door he sees a sign on the bannister that reads “Getting warmer” accompanied with a pair of tights. Seductively we see a woman slowly opening a tub of Haagen Dazs. The man continues up the stairs on the hunt for more signs and items of clothing. “Getting really Hot” another sexily reads with a silk blouse draped next to it. We keep cutting to the tempting woman as she toys with the creamy delight. The man reaches the bedroom door, stuck to it is another note “Red Hot” with a bra next to it. Hurriedly the man bursts into the room to come face to face with a pile of dirty laundry. A sign is stuck to the front of it. It reads “Bingo”. The man sticks his head out of the window to see his wife enjoying her ice cream in the garden.

Oh, Maid!
This idea is similar to the previous pitch. A man arrives home and as he walks through the door he sees a pair of tights adorning the bannister. Getting excited he starts to undo his tie and hurries up the stairs. We see a woman tenderly caressing a tub of Haagen Dazs. It looks like she’s waiting for something. More clothes are scattered up the stairs, and along the hallway and a bra is dangling off the bedroom doorknob. The man has been periodically removing his clothes too, getting ready for some ‘fun times’. The woman is slowly stirring the ice cream in the tub, teasing it. The man, now in only his underpants. slowly takes the bra off the doorknob, pauses for a second, then hurriedly starts to kick off his underpants as he opens the door. He is standing in the open doorway and his look of excitement quickly changes. We see the woman is enjoying a spoonful of the soft ice-cream and it is now obvious she is not in the bedroom. Back to the man, he is standing, naked, in front of the maid who is carrying an overflowing basket of laundry.
